Timber Ridge is a wilderness treatment center, designed to provide a 6-15 month program that rehabilitates at-risk boys between the ages of 12 and 17. We are located near Salisbury, NC. As a group leader you would live with a group of eight to ten teen aged
males in a wilderness setting for the duration of your shift. You will help the group make their time goals, guide them in problem solving, and lead them in activities and work projects designed to improve confidence and cooperation. These boys are all here
to receive help for whatever emotional or behavioral problems they’ve had in their lives. They receive treatment primarily through the group living process, but also meet monthly with licensed counselors who help them resolve their familial issues. Group leaders

Nature’s Classroom at Ohio FFA Camp Muskingum is seeking enthusiastic, fun, and talented individuals excited to work with young people in our outdoor education program. Students always remember their time at camp, and our instructors have the opportunity to

Flat Rock River YMCA Camp, located just south of Indianapolis, IN, is looking for an Outdoor Education Program Instructor – Department Lead to add to our Fall Outdoor Education team!
This position begins August 12th, 2019 and runs through mid-November. Our Outdoor Education program works with hundreds of youth from Indiana and surrounding states, so candidates must have experience working with youth/families in recreational or educational
settings. Current lifeguard certification or the ability to acquire is a plus. Bonuses are given upon completion of the season, for lifeguard and ropes certifications. Pay rates begin at $50 daily, or $350 weekly. Housing is provided, as well as prepared meals

The Sherman Lake YMCA Integrated Education (IE) program is seeking staff for our fall 2019 program. These are seasonal full-time positions beginning in early September. The IE program helps schools transform their culture by bringing character development lessons
learned at camp back to the classroom (Camp to Classroom). IE staff will facilitate experiential and character-based curriculum for local area schools throughout our 3-5 day residential programs. Character development and promoting social emotional learning
skills are at the core of this learning experience. These valuable lessons are transferable. Program Coordinators will assist with the overall coordination and implementation of the program and provide on-site, on-call overnight support. Must be 18 years of
age or older, able to role model honesty, caring, respect and responsibility and available for residential work. The fall season will run from early September – mid-December. On-site housing and meals while working are included and YMCA membership. For more

Do you love to work outside, have a sense of humor, and enjoy working with children? Spend a season in the sunny Carolinas as a Program Instructor with YMCA Camp Thunderbird! Located just south of Charlotte, NC on beautiful Lake Wylie, Camp Thunderbird’s Environmental
Education Center and Conference & Retreat Program provide unique learning experiences for school groups and community groups. Instructors teach classes during the week for our EE Center, which sees over 14,000 school children each year. Our curriculum of 20+
classes range in topics from aquatic, forest, and wildlife ecology to astronomy, pioneer study, canoeing, teambuilding, and high ropes. Two evenings a week, instructors lead meals and evening programs. Compensation includes $262/week, staff housing, meals,
a complimentary Charlotte YMCA membership, and a staff training period that includes CPR, first aid, and optional lifeguard certification. Instructors also work one weekend a month for our Conference & Retreat Program. Previous experience working with children
