Subject: Forest Service – SAF Convention – National Hiring Event
Good morning,
The Forest Service expects to advertise more than 800 student internships and recent graduate positions in forestry and timber very soon! We will be at the Society of American Foresters Convention recruiting and supporting students through the application process. Please help us get the word out about this event. Your students are the future of forestry, and we want them to be part of the Forest Service, an organization that is committed to caring for the land and serving people.
For those who may be attending the convention, if you have top candidates, you think we should talk with please have them visit us in Rooms 7 and 8 (second level of the Convention Center). We will have a computer lab (Room 7) to support those wishing to apply for positions and representatives from each of our regions (Room 8) to speak with students about the opportunities in the location they are interested. Students should bring a digital copy of their resume and school transcripts with them so they are prepared to apply on site.
