I hope all is well in Carbondale these days. I have some job opportunities for folks looking for recreation field work in a remote setting- please pass it on!<\/p>\n

Are you tired of people? Looking for some solitude next summer? Come join a Wilderness Trail\/Ranger Crew on the Krassel Ranger District! Our crews live at remote guard stations and work primarily in an 800,000-acre portion of the Frank Church \u2013 River of No Return Wilderness Area<\/em>, the largest contiguous roadless area in the Lower 48. Expect nine-day backpacking trips with frequent crosscut saw use, trail maintenance work, mule packing, and a whole lot of sunsets!<\/p>\n
