Hello- The intent of this email is to let you know and your institutions, organizations, businesses know that the Forest Service is hiring permanent positions at large-scale. I am sending this for opportunity sharing. Here locally on the Plumas National Forest we have numerous forestry positions needing filled in work-response to the landscape-level changes that have occurred due to the last 4 years of wildfires. Jobs include a range of opportunities and include reforestation, timber stand improvement, sale preparation, stewardship contracting, sale administration, service contracting and much more (see attachments). There are entry-level to more experienced level positions available and we are on the lookout for individuals with a passion for natural resource management. Please share widely as the application periods will be closing soon. Attached are relevant documents that describe the process in which to apply. This is a national hiring effort with potential local impacts.<\/p>\n
