DIRECTOR OF PROGRAMMING – WASHINGTON
The Goodtimes Project is a Seattle-based nonprofit that operates Camp Goodtimes, a pediatric oncology camp. We are currently recruiting for a full-time (year round) Director of Programming. We welcome applications from experienced and energetic individuals who feel called to work with a dedicated group of volunteers to plan, develop and implement year-round programming for our community of children, teens, young adults, families and volunteers. Camp Goodtimes’ current programming includes a 30 year history of no-cost summer camp for cancer patients and survivors, and their siblings. We welcome campers from western Washington and Alaska, ages 7 to 17, for two separate weeks of residential overnight summer camps on Vashon Island. We also offer a weeklong kayak trip for young adult survivors in the San Juan Islands. Each year we serve approximately 225 children and 15 young adults.
